BBM is celebrating its 20th anniversary. In 2025, BBM Service will celebrate an extraordinary milestone: 20 years of activity in the automated packaging and bottling sector. Founded in 2005 in the Val Brembana (Bergamo) region, BBM has come a long way through innovation, commitment, and growth, achieving significant results at a global level.
In twenty years, we have proudly served over 1,500 clients across 105 countries, covering all five continents. Thanks to the dedication and expertise of our young and dynamic team, we have installed more than 30 complete bottling and packaging lines, used and refurbished, and sold hundreds of reconditioned machines and conveyor belts, along with an ever-growing number of compatible spare parts. This extraordinary result reflects the high level of specialization achieved by our technical office and field technicians, who are engaged 365 days a year in maintenance, relocation, and installation activities for our machines, among other tasks.
Our company has heavily invested in human resources, training more than 50 technicians capable of providing qualified technical support on bottling and packaging machines from the leading brands in the industry. This has allowed us to offer an increasingly comprehensive range of services tailored to our clients’ needs.
Over the years, BBM has expanded and now operates from two main locations: the legal office with administrative offices and spare parts warehouse in San Pellegrino Terme, and the workshop in Lenna, where the revision and display of used machinery takes place. Our locations reflect our forward-looking approach, with particular attention to sustainability and innovation. The Lenna facility has recently been upgraded with the installation of an 80 kW photovoltaic system, capable of generating nearly all the electricity required to power the entire production hub. This investment is a concrete step toward energy self-sufficiency and demonstrates our commitment to more sustainable, low-environmental-impact solutions. At the same time, we are planning an equally significant transformation for the San Pellegrino Terme location, which will soon be converted into a cutting-edge research hub designed to meet the highest standards of sustainability and safety.

Our Story, at a Glance
BBM was born from the experience and vision of its three founding partners, Boffelli, Bonzi, and Milesi, who started in 2005 with the goal of providing specialized technical support in the packaging and beverage industry. In a unique geographical setting like Val Brembana, where the mineral water industry has always been an economic pillar due to the abundance of high-quality water resources, BBM has grown by responding to the needs of a constantly evolving sector.
Among the key moments in our history, we highlight the founding of the Packaging division in 2009, dedicated to the sale of used machinery, and the acquisition, in 2011, of the Lenna facility, which has now become a reference point for machinery revision. In 2021, we expanded our production hub across two levels for a total of 3400 sqm, introducing our new slogan “By Your Side in Packaging.” 2023 marked another important milestone: BBM published its first Sustainability Report and adopted a photovoltaic system for the self-production of electricity, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
- 2004 – BBM Service is founded by the three partners: Boffelli, Bonzi, and Milesi
- 2008 – BBM expands with the purchase of a 600 sqm production building
- 2009 – BBM Packaging division is created, dedicated to the sale of used machinery

- 2012 – DB Project is established, specializing in engineering and creating technical solutions for clients
- 2015 – BBM celebrates its 10th anniversary with the slogan Service, Machines & Much More
- 2017 – Colorsolution is born
- 2021 – Expansion of the Lenna production hub over two levels, adding more than 3400 sqm. Introduction of the new slogan “By Your Side in Packaging”
- 2023 – BBM publishes its first Sustainability Report and becomes the first company in the Lenna area to adopt a photovoltaic system for self-production of electricity
- 2024 – BBM earns the EcoVadis Gold Medal for sustainability and its first Gender Equality Certification; a milestone confirming our commitment to an inclusive and fair work environment, promoting diversity and equal opportunities for all our employees.
The Next Milestone: Participation in Drinktec Fair
We are celebrating our twenty years by participating for the first time as exhibitors at the Drinktec trade fair, which will be held in Munich from September 15 to 19, 2025. This important event not only marks a significant step in our growth but also confirms the role BBM has established in the international market. However, our goals go even further: it’s not just about strengthening our market presence, but doing so in a sustainable way, focusing on process automation, digitalization, and innovation. We aim to integrate solutions that improve production efficiency while respecting the environment, contributing to a more responsible and cutting-edge supply chain, in line with our mission tied to reconditioned machinery.

Today, BBM boasts a highly efficient organizational structure, with an internal quality office, a research and development department, a specialized technical office, and a spare parts and purchasing department that ensures fast and tailored service for every client.
