Complete service for Santa Vittoria: dismantling and removal of the decommissioned line, assembly, and start-up of the new line. In the heart of the Ligurian Alps, at an altitude of 1380 meters, Santa Vittoria water springs forth. Santa Vittoria is bottled in the Pornassio (Imperia) plant in three different formats, both natural and sparkling. And ‘bubbles’ account for around 70 per cent of the plant’s production. In addition, Santa Vittoria branded water also produces large volumes for Lidl, the European retail giant.
Over the years, Santa Vittoria has developed a production system with high quality and flexibility, where all processes – from bottling to palletising – are fully automated. Thanks to the investment in renewables, the plant operates in perfect energy balance, thus significantly reducing CO2 emissions. In 2013, Santa Vittoria joined the Green Economy project for business competitiveness.
In 2022, Santa Vittoria requested the expertise of BBM Service for the installation of a new production line to increase the capacity of the Pornassio plant. BBM Service provided an all-round service; from the collection and resale evaluation of the decommissioned line, to the installation of the new line. A turnkey operation that involved BBM technicians.
CONSERVATIVE DISMANTLING AND WITHDRAWAL OF THE DISMANTLED LINE
In just seven days, BBM’s technicians dismantled and picked up the complete 15,000 bph PET line, handling its transfer to our warehouse in Lenna. Here, the machines were completely overhauled, in order to make them perform again.
INSTALLATION AND START-UP OF THE NEW LINE
We know the customer, the spaces, the equipment and the dynamics of the site. Thanks to this expertise, we actively supported the supplier’s technicians, acting as foreman, to coordinate the assembly and start-up activities of the machines. We did not only take care of the technical aspects: we also took care of site safety management and waste disposal. In less than a month, the new bottling line (SMI supply) can be considered completed and switched on. The result is a complete line with a production capacity of 25,000 bph. The line bottles natural and sparkling water in four different formats.
